The watercolor in the animation above is dedicated to the women I know whose spirits continue to flower in spite of age, illness or adversity. The treasure they are becomes even more apparent over time. And their faith inspires mine.

The idea for the painting came about after I reread these words Paul wrote long ago to the church at Corinth:

But we have this treasure in clay jars, so that it may be made clear that this extraordinary power belongs to God and does not come from us. ...always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be made visible in our bodies.

2 Corinthians 4:7,10

I used Adobe Flash CS3 Professional and Adobe Photoshop CS software. It is the first of many that I plan to put together from my watercolor paintings. Please visit my site again to see my progress. I believe my animation skills will only get better all the time. I promise you I will do my best to create animations to inspire your heart.

The solo piano music you hear during the "moving picture" is composed by Dan Graham and titled Raindrops On The Window.

What or who inspires you? I would love to hear about it.. Send me an email.

For me, all inspiration, whether from nature, music, people, or scripture, is God-breathed. Much of my art is inspired by scripture.
